Director of the Center for Advanced Systems Research & Education (CASRE)
Carla Arbogast began her career at the University of Tennessee in 2006 joining the department of Industrial & Systems Engineering in 2011. She is the director of the Center for Advanced Systems Research and Education (CASRE) in the department of Industrial & Systems Engineering.
In addition to her responsibilities as the director of CASRE, Carla leads all activities associated with the educational programs offered through the center. She works closely with the Department of Energy (DoE) in conjunction with these educational programs along with various DoE projects.
Carla earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Central Michigan University and her master’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Her area of research is human factors as it relates to job stress and workforce development.
